Tourist Visa & Visit Visa - Turkey

In Turkey, a tourist visa lets you explore the country for leisure and tourism, allowing stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. To apply, you'll fill out an online form and provide a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond your planned stay. You'll also need a recent passport photo, proof of where you'll stay or an invitation from a host, your travel plans, and evidence that you can cover your expenses while there. It's also wise to have medical insurance for your stay. If you're visiting family or friends, attending a conference, or going for short-term business, a visit visa is appropriate. You'll need similar paperwork plus an invitation letter from your host in Turkey, proof of your ties to your home country, and financial proof. Both visas require a fee and can be processed through Turkish consulates or online e-visa services, depending on where you're from and the type of visa you need.
