Malaysia Visa Requirements

  • Original Passport [Current and previous if applicable] and copy of all bio-data pages of the passport.
  • 3 Photographs 35 mm wide –50 mm high. Close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70–80% of the photograph in white background.

Malaysia eVisa: An eVISA is a visa application platform that enables foreign nationals to apply for their Malaysian visa online.

  • Passport with validity of at least 9 months
  • Latest digital passport-sized photo, size (35mm x 50mm) taken within the last 6 months. The facial image must be from chin to crown. Scanned photos will not be accepted)
  • Confirmed Return flight and Hotel booking
  • Birth certificate – for underage children
  • NOC signed by the parents for children below 18 years

Visa Validity: The validity period of your e-Visa is 3 months from the e-VISA issued to date by the Department of Immigration Malaysia. You are allowed to stay in Malaysia for up to a maximum of 30 days.

The government of Malaysia has started eNTRI Malaysia Visa Waiver Program to facilitate the entrance of Indian Nationals into Malaysia effectively from January 1st, 2020 – 31st Dec 2020.

Electronic Travel Registration & Information (eNTRI) has to be applied online. An eNTRI Note will be issued as proof of the registration and is required to be presented upon arrival in Malaysia eNTRI note is issued for a single journey to Malaysia within 3 months for the stay of up to 15 days.

Each application can only be used once and no extension is allowed.

Documents Required for eNTRI

  • Passport with validity of at least 9 months
  • Studio clicked the digital passport-sized photo, size (35mm x 50mm) taken within the last 6 months. The facial image must be from chin to crown. Scanned photos will not be accepted
  • Confirmed round trip return flight booking
  • Aadhar Card
  • Hotel Booking
  • Birth certificate – for underage children
  • NOC signed by the parents for children below 18 years

Following documents are required to be presented upon arrival in Malaysia at entry checkpoints:

  • Boarding pass
  • Sufficient funds (Cash/ Travelers Cheque / Debit or Credit Cards) to cover expenses during your stay at Malaysia
  • Confirmed returned flight tickets
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Applicant must enter Malaysia by a direct flight from India to Malaysia or may enter Malaysia via Singapore, Thailand, and Brunei. The applicant must also have a return flight ticket to India, Singapore, Thailand, or Brunei.
