Canada Express Entry Program

The Canada Immigration process has been made online with the evolution of technology so as to increase the process time of the application.  To start the application you have to create your Express Entry profile and in that you must complete an online application form with all your basic information. This form includes details about your age, skills, language and educational qualification. There are different programs under which one can apply for Canada PR under Express entry category:-

Canada Express Entry eligibility requirements

  • A candidate must provide the language test result

  • Overseas candidates are required to get their Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) done from Canadian education Assessing body. The reports are generally valid for five years.

  • A candidate needs to submit an online in Express entry profile

  • A candidate needs to score minimum 67 points based on the factors like age, education, language proficiency 

  • A candidate provide the health and character certifications once the candidate received an ITA (invitation to apply) for Canada PR.


What is Canada Express Entry Draw & how does it work? 

Based on the above requirements an applicant would be assessed though the Comprehensive Ranking System which would award rank to the candidates who want to migrate to Canada as a permanent resident and have submitted their Express Entry profile in the pool.

Draw will happen two times a month where a group of highest ranked candidates would be shortlisted by the Canadian Authorities for PR application under a specific Federal program and would be invited to apply for PR. The points are awarded from a total base of 1200. After getting the invitation to apply for PR the applicant will have to submit proper documents as per the CIC guidelines and evidence for all the information that you would have submitted online within duration of 60 days after receiving the ITA.
