Documents Required for Bangladesh Visa for Indian Citizens

  • Passport: Original Passport with the validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.

  • Bangladesh Visa Application Form: Visa application form has to be filled online. Following is the link https://www.visa.gov.bd/.

  • Photo Specification: Two recent passport size colored photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
    Please note: Photographs should not be more than three months old, scanned/ stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

  • Covering Letter : Covering-letter from applicant stating his name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai.
    Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.

  • Proof of Occupation: Original Leave letter/ NOC from company along with the copy of employee ID card.
    Please Note: If applicant is self employed, a copy of Aadhaar card have to be submitted along with the visa application.

  • Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary.

  • Accommodation Proof: Hotel booking.

  • Financials : Personal Bank Statements for last three months
