Bangladesh Visa Requirements

  • Passport with the validity of a minimum of six months and a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamping. Please Note: Attach all old passports (if any).
  • Three recent passport size colored photographs with matt or semi-matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background, and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
  • Proof of Occupation: Original Leave letter/ NOC from the company along with a copy of the employee ID card.
  • Please Note: If the applicant is self-employed, a copy of the Aadhaar card has to be submitted along with the visa application.
  • Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary.
  • Accommodation Proof: Hotel booking.
  • Financials: Personal Bank Statements for the last three months
  • Please Note: Consulate may ask for any additional documents.
  • Note: Mumbai issue passport Holders are mandatory to make a presence at Bangladesh consulate for personal submission or on his behalf, only company employee can submit the application.

The letter should be duly signed by the host and directly faxed (022-66574327) or Emailed (mission.mumbai@mofa.gov.bd) to the consulate by addressing to – The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai.
  • Please Note: A copy of the invitation letter along with the copy of the host’s passport has to be submitted with the visa application.
  • Proof of Occupation: Original Leave letter/ NOC from the company along with a copy of the employee ID card.
